Kirsten Strand, BSc, CITE, CMM, LEED AP BD+C, leads the network of professionals at Invenia. Kirsten is recognized as a serial entrepreneur, having co-founded meetings, incentive travel and event & destination management companies. These include PRIME Strategies, Famous Events (acquired by PGI, which was subsequently acquired by TBA), Total Entertainment Network and Invenia. Her firms have received many awards, including the prestigious SITE Crystal Awards. The Crystal Awards serve as the benchmark for the incentive industry. Kirsten has also been recognized with the BIV "40 under 40" Award for her achievements as an entrepreneur. Kirsten holds a Bachelor of Science and is Certified Meeting Manager (CMM) and Certified Incentive Travel Executive (CITE). "The CITE is considered to be the highest honor of professional achievement in the incentive industry, and is held by less than 50 persons world-wide". She has also successfully attained her CMP and AISP designations and recently graduated from the CMM Class (Certification in Meeting Management) and has enjoyed her wine exploration, most notably the WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) Advanced Wine Studies.

Kirsten and her teams have created exceptional experiences for some of the world's leading organizations including L'Oréal, Coca-Cola, Audi, Berkshire Life, Nestlé and Shell. Together they are committed to providing excellence and value to select and discerning clients. Kirsten has served on several boards of leading hotels, technical firms and incentive associations.
